In this video, Dr. Berg answers the question if should you drink water before you go to bed and the answer is NO you shouldn’t. Here’s two reasons why:
1. Drinking more water is going to make you get up to the night – It is going to interfere with your sleep. The average bladder can hold a little more than a cup and a half of urine before certain receptors are triggered forcing you to get up and urinate. Other reasons why there’s an increase urination at night:
- Diabetics
- Diuretics
- Prostate
- Fibroid
- Hypercalcemia
2. Dry Fasting – it means you are fasting without drinking any water. The benefits of fasting is huge and when you do dry fasting, it is enhanced even more. It triggers certain types of mechanism that causes adaptation to these great survival benefits.
