Politics: Immigration: All Immigrants Must Enter the United States Legally: PragerU: YouTube

Seeking legal asylum? Seek it legally. Want to avoid being arrested? Don’t break the law. The media narrative today is that America has become “xenophobic” and is turning its back on new immigrants. But that narrative is sharply contradicted by the fact that the United States maintains the most generous immigration policies in the world.…

Politics: Immigration: Michelle Malkin Speaks [Powerfully] at CPAC 2019 | YouTube

“Conservative blogger and businesswoman Michelle Malkin speaks at CPAC 2019. “It’s the GOP sellouts, not just the radical open-borders left that is in bed with immigration saboteurs…. Those are the real grifters.” Note: This was an excellent speech; it should be heard. I strongly favour limited, well-vetted, well-managed legal immigration. I truly enjoy meeting and…

Meanwhile, in six…

Build the wall already

Ciudad Hidalgo (Mexico) (AFP) – Hundreds of Honduran migrants broke through a Guatemalan border barrier and forced their way onto Mexican territory Friday, as riot police tried to keep them from advancing past a border bridge and continuing their trek toward the US.

Multiple migrants, federal police and journalists were wounded as the crowd hurled rocks and other objects at the security cordon on the Mexican side, an AFP correspondent said.

Chanting “Yes we can!” and “Mexico! Mexico!” hundreds of migrants climbed or violently tore down a series of barriers leading to the final fence and police line on Mexico’s southern border.

Generally accepted estimates put the population of undocumented immigrants in the United States at approximately 11.3 million. A new study, using mathematical modeling on a range of demographic and immigration operations data, suggests that the actual undocumented immigrant population may be more than 22 million.

Note: Guess the Democrats need to bolster their voting base (felons and the dead help as well it seems). Look, I’m a Constitutional Libertarian, so I’m not the biggest fan of the Establishment Republicans either (to say the least). Moreover, I am a xenophile and love encountering people of different cultures and backgrounds — I don’t believe in playing the race/ethnicity game. Perhaps this is why I differ from many POTUS supporters, in that I believe that those illegal immigrants who have been otherwise productive, law-abiding inhabitants should be given a path to stay — so long as we take effective, permanent efforts to cease the flow going forth. For those already here, just trying to live life as best they can, and not engaging in the radical leftist agenda, or in gang-related or other criminal activity, or in abuse of the welfare system, why not give them a chance?

In fact, want to boost the Republican/Libertarian vote, whilst giving the aliens a helping-hand (unto the benefit of all of us)? My hope is that POTUS will try something akin to (1) deporting all of the criminal/gang element (who mostly prey on other members of their ethnic group albeit with spillover into the society at large); (2) deporting the deadbeats (those who have not made an effort to work); (3) deporting the radicals (the commies, the socialists, the fascists, the “ethnicity-of-any-kind firsters,” etc. who like to act up in protests as if they own this country); but (4) grant a path to citizenship for those nineteen and under who have been here for at least three years; (3) grant a path to permanent resident status only to all (otherwise) law-abiding illegals currently here. The caveat would be a comprehensive program to help them integrate into society; no more isolated enclaves mimicking the look and feel of their former lands. Also, no voting privileges to non-citizens. Beyond that, as many as want to be Americans, let them be (per the above). However, as many as want to turn America, or parts of it, into copies of their former homelands… send them packing quickly.

Finally, diversity can, and does, make America great so long as their is true unity in allegiance to this nation, true unity in love for this nation, and a desire to act honourably, civilly, and for the benefit of the citizenry at large. MAGA/KAG aren’t just letters… lets make them real for everyone, doing so prudently, lovingly, intelligently. Consider ancient Israel; God commanded the Israelites to treat well the strangers living amongst them. However, those were strangers who wished to dwell peaceably, and to follow the laws of the land, even as the Israelites followed. There was never a command to embrace, or take in, active enemies, subversives, the lawless, etc. Prudence must be used as well as biblical compassion.
