Higher quality sleep, a greater feeling of restfulness in the morning, much less brain fog, and a more positive attitude are all personally-experienced benefits of mouth-taping at night. I use 3M Micropore Surgical Paper Tape; you can find cheaper products but they do not work for me (pharmacy/supermarket-available, in-store, brands come off too easily at night in my experience). Refills are available at a reasonable price through Amazon as well.

The bottom-line is simple, avoid mouth breathing (whether whilst awake or asleep) as much as possible; it not only looks bad but it is bad for you. I’m working on it and if you have the same problem, I would encourage you to do so as well…
