What Is Salvation? When Were We Saved?
2 Timothy 1:8-9 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; 9 Who HATH SAVED US, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN.

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are SAVED [literally, continuously being saved — it is a Greek present passive participle] it is the power of God. [The efficacy of Christ’s finished work saves us every day; we are daily renewed; this does not mean that our justification, sanctification, redemption, etc. was not completed at the cross — this is not what is in view].
Psalm 80:3 TURN US AGAIN, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be SAVED.
