A Christ-Centered Love

A Christ-Centered Love

or, God Loves All Who Are In Christ From Eternity and None Who Are Outside of Him From Eternity

MustOne reason why so many can believe that God loves all mankind without exception, despite clear verses to the contrary (such as Psalm 5:5 “The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: THOU HATEST all workers of iniquity”) is because they view God’s love as common and not truly holy, sanctified, and exclusive to the Righteous One. They view His love as being spread across, and throughout, all of humanity – lighting upon every soul born into this world. They fail to realise that, concerning humanity, the love of God has a single and central focus, and that focus is on Christ. God love’s Christ, our spiritual Israel, and because God loves Christ, God must (and does) love every single person IN Him. God loves not just the regenerate saints who have communion with the Lord but all who were chosen (elected) in Christ from before the foundation of the world. thus, this includes all those living who are elect but not yet quickened, as well as all of the elect not yet born.

The Holy Spirit teaches, concerning all who are in Christ, that we were chosen in Him that we should be holy and without blame before him IN LOVE, having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted IN the BELOVED (we are LOVED in the BELOVED). He Goes on to reveal that in the Beloved, in Christ, WE have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. But who is the WE? The WE constitutes all who were chosen IN CHRIST before the foundation of the world. It does not include those who were not so chosen.

The Lord loves His bride, His sheep, His church, His elect. He does not love the whore, the goats, the false church, or the reprobate. We read in 1 John 3:16 “Hereby perceive we THE LOVE [OF GOD], because He laid down His life for US: and WE ought to lay down our lives for THE BRETHREN.” We read that He laid down His life for US, but again, who is the US? See John 10:11, 15 “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd GIVETH HIS LIFE for the sheep…15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR the SHEEP” -and- Ephesians 5:25 “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also LOVED THE CHURCH, and gave himself FOR HER.”

Do not be deceived; God does not love the wicked, He cannot love the wicked, for He can only love righteousness — and righteousness can only be found in the “LORD our Righteousness.” And who is the LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS? He is The Lord Jesus Christ who is the fulness of the Triune Godhead bodily! And who is the “OUR” who view, or will view, Him as their Righteousness? They are the sheep, the saints, the “all who were chosen in Christ from before the foundation of the world.” The Lord stated in John 10:27 “My sheep hear my voice, and I KNOW {a synonym for LOVE} them, and they follow me” and yet in the verse prior He declared “But YE believe not, because YE are not of MY SHEEP, as I said unto you.” If the Lord laid down His life for His sheep, and yet some (even many, a vast multitude) are not of His sheep, then we can rest assured that His love did not fall upon them, will not fall upon them, and thus, He never died for them. May it be that we be found in Him, hid in Him, loved by Him. How do we know if this is our case? Believe the Gospel. All who believe, and endure to the end (by His grace, mercy, and preservation), are beloved of God; all who reject the Gospel, and die in such a state, will forever perish under the eternal and fiery wrath of God.
